At first look, the exposure compensation doesn't make any sense if metering system in camera works good. Exactly, exposure compensation is available for satisfy the photographer's requests, and more, it is a good tool to adjust the exposure value without changing a metering method. On these pictures, the sense of exposure compensation is not good represented. It shows only a results of exposure settings in full compensation scale.
